  • A caller said someone was sleeping in Soumas Court. An officer responded and made contact with a sleeping juvenile. The officer made contact with the juvenile’s mother, who “said he is supposed to be at school.” The officer transported the juvenile home.
  • A caller reported “a huge tree limb across the trail” about one mile south of Perry. An officer responded and made contact with the Dallas County Conservation Department.
  • A caller said “someone has stolen their snow blower and lawn mower” from “a shed.” The caller said “the shed has not been locked for about 20 years,” and “never has anyone gone in it.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “a voicemail he received from someone stating that” the caller “was under investigation.” An officer responded and confirmed it was a telephone scam.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “her mother’s boyfiend” had “changed the locks on the door, and she’s not allowed in the residence.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “said he has a video of illegal dumping.” An officer responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “her son’s cell phone was stolen.” An officer responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “she had hit her own garage with her vehicle.” An officer responded and advised the woman “to make contact with the insurance company.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
