November 7, 2017

  • A caller said she caught a dog running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller from the Meals on Wheels program said a client of the service “has fallen and cannot get up.” The Dallas County EMS was paged.
  • A caller said “his estranged girlfriend left about three weeks ago,” and now the caller “is concerned” the estranged girlfriend “is going to take his son.” An officer responded and “spoke with him about the situation.”
  • An accidental wireless 911 call was received. An officer responded.
  • Fashion Marie Foster, 42, 311 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on charges of driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller said “his vehicle was stolen from Coon Rapids” and he “just located it” in Perry. “He said the plates on it are not his.” An officer responded and found the vehicle identification number “matched the plates,” and “it was determined the vehicle is not” the caller’s.
  • A caller reported “a woman attempting to get into her apartment.” An officer responded, talked with the caller and “everything was okay.”
  • A caller said his dog was lost.
  • A caller said his billfold was lost. The caller called again and said his billfold was found.
  • A caller reported “a person with a scooter” with “no lights.” An officer responded but did not find the person or the scooter.
  • A caller said “someone must have broken into the garage.” An officer responded.

November 8, 2017

  • An accidental 911 call was received. An officer responded.
  • Jose Angel Navarro Calderon, 25, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A caller said “a vehicle hit a headstone at Violet Hill cemetery.” The caller said “there are car parts everywhere, and he can see a trail of where the vehicle is at.” An officer responded, “followed the trail” and “spoke with” someone.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
