November 19, 2022
- A 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, registered to and driven by Azucena Ochoa Rivera of 1221 Seventh St., Perry, collided with a 2011 Ford Expedition, registered to and drive by Jerry James Richardson of, 1606 Fifth St., Perry, near First Avenue and Warford Street. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $14,000. Ochoa was issued a citation for unsafe turn.

- A 2001 Lexus RX3 SUV, registered to Walter Alexander Chicas of 4306 86th St., Urbandale, and driven by Brenda Beatriz Barreradechicas of 4331 Lugo Ave., Lynnwood, California, collided with a 2023 Acura Altima, registered to Maritza Alarcon of 411 Third St., Perry, and driven by Mario Alberto Saldana of 411 Third St., Perry. No injuries were reported. The crash report had not been completed.
- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 2700 block of Charles Street.
- A 2023 Toyota Camry, registered to and driven by Kvaw Khai of 1306 Evelyn St., Perry, collided with a 2012 Toyota Tacoma, registered to Candelario Murillo of 1624 North St., Perry, and driven by Alicia Cristina Guillen Gomez of 1624 North St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $50.

- James Alexander Pena, 25, of 612 Locust St., Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- Ernesto William Morales, 23, of 1624 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
- Jose Alfredo Sanchez, 31, of 2609 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for first-degree harassment.
- Steve Earl Marshall, 61, of 2209 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension and issued a citation for failure to respond to steady red light.
