Oct. 2, 2023
- Michael Scott Schmitz, 35, of 2625 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a Story County warrant for probation violation on an original charge oo OWI.
- A 2024 Nissan Altima, registered to Osiris Bladimir Diaz Penado of 2206 Willis Ave., Perry, and driven by Ada Jeannette Cisneros Ortiz of El Salvador, collided with a legally parked 2013 Nissan Altima, registered to Jennifer Josselyn Reyes Zelaya of 1005 Otley Ave., Perry, in the 1200 block of Lucinda Street. No injuries were reported. Minor damage was reported.

- Officers received a report of a theft in the 1100 block of First Avenue. A smart phone was reported missing.
- Officers received a report of harassment in the 400 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
