  • A caller said “every morning about 7:45 a.m., a black car drives by really fast,” and the caller was “concerned for children’s safety.” The caller requested an officer “check the area out tomorrow if possible.”
  • A caller reported “a dog near his residence that is currently barking.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and “followed the dog but was not able to catch it.”
  • A caller said “he noticed his shotgun missing.” The caller said he also “had a Bowie knife and a switchblade-type knife taken.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a cat he caught running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said she lost her wallet. The caller called again and said she found her wallet.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said he was “upset because his cousin has been making harassing comments to him while he is out around town.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “reported an elderly man who appeared to be lost.” The caller said the man “parked his car on the road and was acting strange,” and then “he drove off.” An officer was advised.
  • A caller said she lost her AARP credit card.
  • A caller from Century Link reported vandalism to a pedestal, with damages amounting to $6,000. An officer responded.
  • A caller said she caught a cat running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department assisted a stranded motorist “in pushing the vehicle out of the roadway.”
  • A caller said his daughter’s ex-boyfriend “is at her residence, intoxicated and refusing to leave.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “her grandson is receiving harassing text messages.” An officer responded.
  • Officers of the Perry Police Department “escorted the homecoming parade.”
  • A caller said he caught a cat running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller “said she wanted to talk to an officer at her residence.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “his vehicle will be parked in his front yard overnight” because “his girlfriend just got out of the hospital, and he needed to be close to the door to help her out of the vehicle.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
