September 15, 2019
- Officers responded to the 1400 block of Willis Avenue on a report of a suspicious male in the area. Officers were not able to locate the person.
- A 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, owned by Sharletha Wiggins and legally parked in the 1000 block of Graceland Avenue, was struck by a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan, owned by Lisa Benedict and operated by Justin Gilliland, on or around Sept. 9 about 8 p.m.
September 16, 2019
- Antonio Rivera Jr., 31, of 1424 Third Street, Perry, was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
- An officer responded to a local bank to pick up a counterfeit $100 bill found in a deposit.
- Officers responded to the 2600 block of Summer Meadows Drive on a report of a suspicious person. The officers located a male and determined everything was okay.
- Shelli Simmons, 50, of 204 Fifth St., Minburn, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- Officers responded to the 1300 block of First Avenue for a report of a fight in progress. The officers made contact with the disputing parties and determined it was a verbal argument only and no assault occurred.
September 17, 2019
- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Third Street on a report of harassment.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of criminal mischief in the 1300 block of Second Street.
- Officers responded to the 1900 block of 16th Street on a report of suspicious activity. The officers found nothing amiss.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of a child assaulting another child. An officer talked to the juveniles involved and to their parents. No charges were filed, and the situation is to be handled by the parents.
