DES MOINES — Nine Perry high school students competed at Drake University recently in the Iowa Academic Decathlon regional contest. The Perry squad placed second in the small school division.
Taking part for Perry were Kaylynn Bousman, Cale Cooklin, Rylynn Gilmore, Jocelyn Hopkins, Madison Mason, Kayla McFarland, Bailey Piper, Cameron Studer, and Alex Tassler. Teresa Kresse and Linda Schumacher serve as coaches for the team.
