GUTHRIE CENTER — Two meets, two team victories.
The Perry Summer Swim Team made it two wins in three days with a 330.5-298.5 win over host Guthrie Center Thursday, with the victory coming on the heels of Tuesday’s 365-243 triumph over Jefferson at the MCB pool.
Perry won the boys side of the meet 158-138, and claimed a 172.5-160.5 win on the girls side.
Sophia McDevitt (11-12) and Haley Vaughn (15-18) led the way for the Perry girls team with five victories (combined relay and individual wins) apiece, with Lilly Riley (9-10) posting four wins while Quin Mahler-Moreno (9-10), Addison Huntington and Jaylene Karolus (both 11-12) and Breanna Penenger (15-18) had triple wins.
Zoe Hibbert and Rebecca Johnson (both 9-10) each won twice, as did Sarah Merz (11-12) and Stephanie Hill (15-18), with Aleah Karolus and Sarah Prombo (8-under), Abby Herman (13-14) and Dannah Karolus and Anna Ridnour (both 15-18) also collecting victories.
Andrew Dowd (13-14) and Ethan Winey (15-18) were four-time winners for the Perry boys, with Townes Wilson and Isaac Winey (both 8U) and Caleb WIney (15-18) notching three wins apiece.
Double-winners for the boys included Riese Archer and Cristopher Gonzalez (both 13-14) and Devon Archer and Drew Storey (both 15-18) while Bryan Anderson and Dysen Deardorff (both 8U), Kane Mahler-Moreno and Joel Storey (both 9-10), Logan Castillo, Ian Thompson and Garrett Winey (all 11-12) and Marcus Nelson and Samuel Ridnour (both 13-14) were first to the wall once.
Perry returns to action Tuesday with a trip to Coon Rapids, with Carroll to visit the MCB Pool Thursday.
