The Raccoon River Conference has awarded Academic All-Conference status to 13 members of the Jayette track squad and to seven members of the Bluejay team.[wpedon id=”82220″ align=”center”]
Those named must be in grades 10-12, earn a letter in the specified sport, and post a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better.
The Jayettes also received the IGHSAU Distinguished Academic Accomplishment team award for posting a combined GPA of 3.379.
Honored by the RRC for the Perry girls were Julissa Calderon, Gabby Chavez, Star Love, Isabel Saemisch, Katelynn Thomason, Sid Vancil, Lainey Thomason, Rylynn Gilmore, Jaqueline Guardado, Sydney Helmers, Brooke O’Dell, Bailey Piper, and Sophie Prombo.
Bluejays honored by the conference included Brandon Kenyon, Zachary Thompson, Kaleb Olejniczak, Justin Stammer, Cole Snyder, Collin Malmberg, and Tyler Fessler.
