CARROLL — Perry was to have visited Carroll for a coed State Qualifying track meet this afternoon, but the hosts have postponed the event until 4 p.m. Friday.
The first two finishers in each event, along with the next eight-best statewide, will qualify for the state meet. Drake Stadium in Des Moines hosts the three-day state meet, which begins May 16.
As a result of the track meet being postponed, tonight’s girls soccer match between Perry and host Carroll will now be played at the Carroll High School stadium instead of the Carroll soccer complex.
Perry will host Carroll tonight at Dewey Field in a boys soccer match. Junior varsity contests at both sites begin at 5:30 p.m. with varsity matches at 7 p.m.
