The Perry netters dropped a 3-0 Raccoon River Conference match Thursday against host and 10th-ranked Gilbert.

An unexpected opening has led to Perry being added to the list of teams competing tomorrow at the Skip Anderson Tournament hosted by Bondurant-Farrar.

The tourney is traditionally a four-pool event, with four teams in each pool. Play is divided between B-F high school and the middle school. Perry will begin play at 9 a.m. at the middle school and will be joined in pool play by Carroll, Gilbert, and Pella Christian.

Based upon the outcome of their three initial pool games the Jayettes will learn whether they will remain at the middle school or resume play at the high school.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, B-F is enforcing a mask policy at both sites, with face coverings required at both venues. Social distancing will also be strongly encouraged, as will frequent hand washing/sanitizing.

Concessions will be available at the high school only. Coolers are allowed outside of gyms only, and should be restricted to family units only.
