With a successful season under their belts, the Perry wrestling team will hold their annual awards banquet March 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the PHS Commons.
Seniors will be honored and asked to speak, with a season overview and highlight video presented while individual awards will be distributed. The event is open to all Junior Jay, middle school and high school families.
Any Junior Jay or middle school families who would like to reserve a spot at the potluck are asked to contact varsity head coach Mark Weber at mark.weber@perry.k12.ia.us or by phone at (319) 231-0967 so the organizers will know how many to expect.
Senior managers and cheerleaders will be honored, as will the septet of senior matmen: Daniel Brinton, Bryan Catalan, Angel Escobar, Miguel Gonzalez, Zach Stewart, Alex Tapia and Zachary Thompson.
