Montezuma, Ogden and Woodward-Granger visited Perry for a wrestling quadrangular Tuesday, with the host Bluejays scoring wins in two of three matches.
Perry stopped Montezuma, 48-24, and Ogden, 44-33, before being handed a 54-25 loss by Woodward-Granger. The Hawks finished 3-0, completing the sweep by dispatching Montezuma, 63-18, and Ogden, 66-9. Ogden was a 42-19 winner over Montezuma in the other match.
Kaleb Olejniczak was 3-0 for Perry at 132 pounds with a pin, major decision and forfeit, with Jacob Nelson, wrestling at 138, also finishing 3-0 with a pin, a decision and a forfeit while Zach Stewart — up two classes at 145 — posted a 3-0 mark with two pins and a tech fall.
Zachary Thompson (126) was 2-0 with a pin and forfeit, with Jered Narber (152) 2-1 with a pin and a forfeit.
Heavyweight Alex Tapia was 2-1 with a pin and a forfeit, with Cole Snyder 1-2 at 170 with a victory by decision. Cesar Ramirez (182) was 2-1 and Jonathan Silva (195) 1-2, each having their wins come by forfeit.
Riece Graham (106), Erick Funez (160) and Angel Escobar (220) were also in action for the Bluejays but were unable to record a victory. Perry left the 113 and 120-pound divisions open in all three matches.
Perry will be in action Friday and Saturday at the two-day Lewis Central Tournament in Council Bluffs.
