Entertainment at the Wednesday Fellowship luncheons at the McCreary Community Building is now limited to the first Wednesday of each month, and this month the fellowship’s spirits were raised by members of the PHS Select Choir.

The full choir sang a song with African rhythms about the trials of inclusion. A series of soloists then entertained the fellowship, including Breanna Penenger, Rylynn Gilmore, Anna Ridnour and Cynthia Naranjo, with a duet by Penenger and Allie Taggart rounding out the performance.

PHS Instrumental Music Director Brandon Weeks accompanied the young songsters on the piano. Weeks said it has been a busy few weeks in the PHS music department as students perfect their staging of “Peter Pan: And Your Heart Will Fly on Wings,” the spring musical.

  1. Programs are only held on the FIRST Wednesday of the month. There was an extra program this month because the high school students could not come when scheduled earlier. The programs are excellent, and more people need to attend. Only about half of those attending the meal come to the program. Please, if you come to the meal, attend the programs on the first Wednesday of the month. Next week fireman Brian Eiteman will bring the drone that was purchased by the fire department, and he will show it and fly it for all those to see. Please attend.
