The Perry High School Mock Trial team competed in the Iowa Bar Association Central District Mock Trial contest Feb. 29 in Des Moines at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, formerly known as the Veterans Memorial Auditorium.

Team members included attorneys Alicia Calderon, Ellie Nielsen, Hannah Sackett, Heaven VanDorn, Sarah Sweet and Samantha Paulin and witnesses Janet Ortiz, Vivian Gonzalez, Mariah McNamara, Devon Archer and Sarah Sweet.

PHS students competed in trials against students from Waukee and Urbandale. Final results and ratings are pending.
