The Perry High School Pulse Dance Team will hold its 11th annual Spring Showcase recital Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. in the PHS gym.
“This is our main fundraiser for the year, so we really hope to get a lot of people to attend,” said Faye Southward, PHS Pulse coach.
The team will be performing all of their dances from this year, Southward said, with the team’s six seniors each featured. Also performing will be the young dancers from kindergarten through fifth grade and sixth through eighth grade who attended the annual dance clinic.
“In addition,” said Southward, “the Storm Lake High School Dance Squad will be performing, and we will have a large group of PHS gentlemen joining us to dance a co-ed routine.”
As part of the PHS Pulse fundraising efforts, bake-sale goods will be available during intermission and glow sticks at the conclusion of the show. Admission to the Spring Showcase is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. Children 4 and under will be admitted free.
