Little Teagan Watts, the daughter of Seth and Maci Watts of Dallas Center, had her first birthday party all planned for Saturday, April 18, but the COVID-19 has upset her plans. Thanks to a creative quarantine-themed cancellation notice, her big day will long be remembered.
“We used it as a cancellation notice to family members,” Maci Watts said. “They all got a kick out of it.”
Watts said she was thankful to her Dallas Center friends for help with the funny photo, including Abby Weddle for the poster, Stephannie Sholar (Vinally) for the onesie, Michelle Leonard for the do-not-cross tape, and “everyone else who offered to help any way they could! You all are so amazing!” she said. “Thanks to all our wonderful neighbors that helped make this happen! I’m so happy we live in such a wonderful town.”
