Perry Kiwanis Club Treasurer Kendall Rathje presented this week’s program at the club’s Tuesday luncheon at the Hotel Pattee in Perry.
Rathje briefed the membership on the final figures for February’s 63rd annual Perry Kiwanis Club Pancake Day and discussed donations for the past year and decade.
According to Rathje, the Kiwanians served 799 people at this year’s pancake event. Since 2007, he said, the club has contributed nearly $60,000 to the local community in the form of scholarships and other donations.
Fellow Kiwanian Hank Schmidt welcomed Rathje to the meeting.
