The "happy baby" time limit was brief for nine-month old Emerson Woodbine Sunday during his visit with Santa Claus at the Carnegie Library and Museum. Fortunately mom Kristin and dad Kelly were nearby, ready to quickly restore everything to its proper order.

A certain Mr. Kringle (Chris, that is) was spotted visiting with little ones of both the human and canine variety at the Carnegie Library and Museum Sunday.

Also known as Father Christmas, Papa Noel, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nic and numerous other monikers, including, of course, Santa Claus, the jolly old elf had both children and Corgis stop by for a holiday visit.

The Festival of Trees at the Carnegie Library and Museum, featuring several dozen holiday trees, wreaths and panoramas, will continue Saturday from 12-4 p.m. and again Sunday from 1-3 p.m. Patrons can vote on their favorite display from local businesses. A goodwill offering is also held, as the Carnegie operates on a slim budget and the generosity of the public.
