Santa Claus started his busy weekend with a two-hour stop Saturday morning at the McCreary Community Building in Perry.
A jolly crowd awaited his 9 a.m. appearance, and many good children — and even a few good dogs — brought their Christmas wishes to the sleigh-driving gift giver.
Saturday is also Free Saturday at the MCB, and the Perry Parks and Recreation Department has holiday-related activities and crafts for children. The MCB is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
