The traditional two-day W-G Classic will be played Friday and Saturday, with the hosts entertaining Perry in a 10 a.m. contest Friday.[wpedon id=”82220″ align=”center”]
Other Diamond 1 games Friday include a 12 p.m. meeting between Madrid and Perry, with W-G facing Lewis Central at 2 p.m. and Madrid playing Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln at 4 p.m.
Diamond 2 games Friday (at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) are Ogden vs. Pleasantville, Winterset vs. Pleasantville, Ogden vs. CBAL and Winterset vs. Lewis Central.
Game times remain the same for Saturday. Diamond 1 action pits W-G vs CBAL and Winterset vs. CBAL, with W-G to face Pleasantville before Perry matches up with Ogden.
Games on Diamond 2, in order, will be Madrid vs. Winterset, Ogden vs. Lewis Central, Perry vs. Lewis Central and Madrid vs. Pleasantville.
All games will have a 90-minute time limit and, if the tourney runs ahead of schedule, they will stay ahead of schedule. The international rule will be used for tied games or those tied with time still remaining. All teams listed first will occupy the third base dugout on each respective diamond.
