Seven players from Raccoon River Conference boys soccer champion Perry have been named to the All-Conference lists.
Perry (10-8 overall) joined ADM and Winterset in finishing 6-1 in league play. The RRC does not extend “shared” titles, with each school able to rightfully claim a conference crown. It was the third in four years for the Bluejays seniors, who won the RRC title outright as freshmen and sophomores.
Seniors Anthony Velasco and Ever Tobar were named to the First Team, as was junior Luis Guzman.
Second Team honors were extended to seniors Jehovany Rivera and Marvin Sarceno and to junior Tomas Lopez, with senior Jonathon Castro selected for Honorable Mention status.
The Bluejays are coached by Gary Overla, who is assisted by Nathan Krohn and Abraham Cardenas.
