Surrounded by a flock of porcelain hens and china roosters, Brenda Nicolaisen and Lisa Holloway, both of Perry, make and serve a wide variety of short-order specialties at Lou’s Diner on east Willis Avenue in Perry.
Breakfasts include crispy bacon and pancakes the size of dinner plates, and lunches range among such Americana favorites as chicken and noodles, hot beef sandwiches and lasagna. Whole pies and homemade jams and jellies are also available for take-home needs.
