Showtime Dance and Tumbling staged the first performance of its 31st annual spring recital Saturday with a mash up of one-hit musical wonders from many decades.[wpedon id=”82220″ align=”center”]
Longtime Showtime owner and operator Carlene Mehls Coleman directed about 125 dancers and tumblers through almost 40 acts of “One Hit Wonders,” including performances of hip hop, pom and tumbling.
Seniors in the 2018 spotlight included Ciera Bronnenberg, Skylar Cunningham, Johanna Diw, Sydney Herrick, Mryn Johnson, Star Love, Samantha Macias, Tatjana Leigh Sheehy and Saydee Strough.
A Sunday matinee performance is planned for 1 p.m. at the Perry Performing Arts Center. The show is free and open to the public.
