Teams learned recently the sites of the May 10 State Qualifying track meets.
Perry will compete in the Class 3A District 8 meet at North Polk. Other teams in action will be Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, Carlisle, DC-G, Norwalk and Saydel.
Panorama and Woodward-Granger will both compete in the Class 2A District 8 meet in Van Meter. AC/GC, Clarke, Colfax-Mingo, Des Moines Christian, Interstate-35, Mt. Ayr, Pleasantville, West Central Valley and Woodward Academy will also be in action.
In both 3A and 2A automatic bids to the state meet are awarded to the top two finishers in each event, with the next eight spots filled on an at-large basis from the best other results statewide.
