A myriad of glow-sticks and other shiny trinkets lit up the Kaufman Track Saturday evening in the sixth annual Light Up the Knight fundraiser for St. Patrick’s Catholic School.
Games and an assortment of activities — inflatable, a dunk tank, a photo booth and Plinko and Frisbee contests — filled the afternoon hours as the students earned points to trade for the glowing trinkets.
At dusk the students began theirs laps around the Kaufman Track, earning the dollars pledged toward their efforts. After each lap, the young walkers stopped at a check-in point, where credits were given and distances tracked.
The St. Pat’s students were joined at the fundraiser by faculty and staff as well as parents, grandparents and other supporters of the school.
