Spirit Week kicked off at Perry High School Monday as part of the week-long Homecoming celebration. Each day (save Volunteer Wednesday) students will have a theme to which they may dress. Monday, as evidenced above, was Pajama Day.

Perry will host Algona at Dewey Field Friday for the annual Homecoming football game, but before kickoff a full week’s worth of boosterism will be on display at PHS.

Spirit Week kicked off Monday with Pajama Day, as students were allowed to wear their sleep gear to school. Tuesday is Twin Day, in which students will dress identically to each other, while Patriotic Day is slated for Thursday.

On Friday, freshmen will wear red, sophomores white, juniors black and seniors blue.

Students will be out and about town Wednesday for Volunteer Day, with a pep rally, king/queen coronation and bonfire all slated to begin at 8 p.m. Thursday.
