Get in the Christmas mood by attending the fifth annual Tour of Homes and Wine Walk at the Spring Valley Retirement Community Campus on Thursday, Dec. 7 from 4-6 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. The courtesy of a response to the RSVP is requested.
Guests will enjoy complimentary wine and cheese as they tour apartments, chat with tenants, listen to live music with Doc McCaulley, enter-to-win door prizes and view Christmas décor and more than 50 nativity sets on display.
Tenants at the Spring Valley Retirement Community Campus of the Perry Lutheran Homes will open their homes and welcome guests for a tour of their spacious apartments decorated for the season. Guests will sample wine and cheese in the atrium, then enjoy their wine as they walk and make their way to the various apartments open for showing.
Guests will then join residents in the atrium to enjoy the music, sample more wine and socialize. This event is a great time to catch up with old friends and meet new ones and to see whether Spring Valley Retirement Community might be the right place for you or someone you know.
In addition to Christmas décor, a variety of nativity sets will be on display throughout the building. Guests are encouraged to count the number of nativity sets they see and make their best guess for a chance on an enter-to-win fantastic door prize.
Please RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 5 to Deb Kruse at 515-465-7503 or by email to dkruse@PerryLutheranHomes.org, then head on over to Spring Valley Retirement Community anytime between 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 501 12th St. in Perry.
