To the Community of Perry:

To everyone involved with the fundraiser Jan. 27 at the Elks Lodge for Aaron Francis and me, I want to say thank you.

Thank you for the time everyone put in volunteering. Thank you to those who donated items to raffle. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us at the event, and a huge thank you to the Perry Elks Lodge for putting it all together.

The sheer number of people who have reached out and voiced their support, offered a prayer or other various acts of kindness over the last two months has been astounding. The last two months have been rough, but with time things are getting better.

I couldn’t do it without the support system I have, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you, everyone.

Sincerely,
Andrew Stringer and family

Andrew Stringer of Perry and his 1-year-old daughter, Emery, greeted visitors at a Saturday fundraiser for Skinner and fellow Tyson Fresh Meats maintenance worker Aaron Francis, who were injured in a Dec. 4 accident at the factory.
