ATLANTIC — Perry turned a 2-1 halftime lead into a 7-1 road victory over Atlantic thanks to flurry of goals in the second half, with four shots finding the nylon in a 12-minute span.

The Jayettes (9-6) received a goal in the 19th minute from Mariah McNamara, who converted off a Natalie Martinez for her first score of the season. Sydney Guerra put her name in the scoring ledger 10 minutes later thanks to the first assist of the season from Joselyn Perla.

Martinez scored eight minutes into the second half to open a 3-1 lead, with a sudden barrage beginning 15 minutes later dooming the Trojans (5-9).

Bailey Cmelik found the net for her first goal of the campaign off a Guerra assist in the 63rd minute, with Guerra assisting on a Martinez strike three minutes later as the lead swelled to 5-1.

Guerra added an unassisted goal in the 69th minute, the 13th of the season for the sophomore. Freshman Bryn Steffen’s second goal of 2016 came six minutes later and capped the scoring.
