With classes winding up this week in the Perry Community School District, many departments are showcasing their student activities, and Tuesday evening saw two school-sponsored events.
The Perry High School Vocal Music Department hosted a jazz night in the PHS Commons Tuesday at 6 p.m., including a dessert auction fundraiser for the 2022 New York City trip.
The PHS Building Trades Department hosted an open house Tuesday afternoon, with tours of the progress on the spec houses built by the students in the 2100 block of Otley Avenue. Hot dogs and hamburgers were served.
