Successful Perry sisters Andrea Menz Tunink and Cherie Menz Welch were the latest Perry High School graduates to speak to the members of the Dallas County Area Retired School Personnel Association (DCARSPA).

The sisters attended the March DCARSPA meeting and spoke of their deep family roots in Perry, roots that left their fingerprints on many businesses.

Both women had a winding journey to their current occupations. Andrea is the owner of Ben’s Five and Dime, and Cherie and her husband own Snap Fitness as well as Harper Rose’s Flower Shop.

Sue Leslie is secretary of the Dallas County-Area Retired School Personnel Association.
