DES MOINES — Undefeated Grandview Christian’s explosive offense was simply too much for Woodward-Granger to handle Monday as the Thunder scored a 92-41 non-conference win at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Thunder (11-0) are averaging a state-best 84.4 points per game while allowing an average of just 37.1 ppg. Aside from a 58-54 win over Ankeny Christian Academy, the team has not won by less than 30 points in any other game.
Stephen Glenn scored 23 points and had five steals while Noah Burt added 18 points while distributing nine assists. The team connected on 15-of-29 3-point shots, with Glenn sinking 5-of-7.
Nick Squires led W-G with 17 points, with Bodie Harrison adding seven points and Cameron Hoyt four. Grant Krichel and Derick Morgan had four points apiece, with Brody Easter and Marcus McConahay tallying two points apiece. Morgan had 10 points an Squires five, with McConahay making three steals while distributing two assists.
