Timothy (Tim) Sexton, 45, of Perry passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his home in Perry, Iowa.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Timothy Douglas Sexton was born on April 22, 1977, in West Virginia to Catherine (Smith) Sexton and Steven Sexton.
He relocated to Iowa as a child with his mom and brother, Robert Sexton, and spent his formative years, including attending high school, in Perry.
Tim then lived in Virginia for several years before moving back to Perry, working first as a maintenance technician at the Richmond International Airport before holding various maintenance positions in the housing sector.
Tim enjoyed spending time with friends and his dog, Boo, and working with his hands, repairing items ranging from bicycles to televisions.
While Tim had his personal struggles, he will be most remembered and missed for his infectious smile and goofy antics.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his mother, Catherine; brother, Rob Sexton; daughter, Tessa Fletcher; niece, Harlow Sexton; and many cousins; aunts; and uncles.
