The 15th annual Trent “T-Bone” Miner Memorial Tournament will have one of the larger fields in event history when local and area golfers tee it up Sunday at the Perry Golf and Country Club.
The charity outing is held in remembrance of Miner, a popular Perry student who passed away from cancer in 2005.
The youth/adult pairings will begin play at 9 a.m. with those 14 and over and their adult partner hitting the links beginning at 1 p.m. Both sections will play nine holes.
Prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin, and both a silent auction and raffle will be held. Meals will be provided and are included in the entry fees.
The Perry Junior Jays will be offering donuts and breakfast burritos as the first groups gather.
The tourney supports the Trent Miner Memorial Scholarship Fund, Make-A-Wish and Caringbridge.
