The always-popular Trent Miner Memorial Parent/Child Golf Tournament will be held August 9 at the Perry Golf and Country Club.
All proceeds from the charity event will go to the Trent Miner Scholarship Fund, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and to caringbridge charities.
The tourney will begin at 9 a.m. with a 9-hole alternate shot circuit for a parent (or any adult relative) and a child 13 and younger. The fee is $10 per person and includes lunch.
The parent/child (14 and over) 9-hole Best Shot tourney will tee off at 1 p.m. Both session will use a shotgun shot. Cost for the second section is $25 per person and includes a meal.
Several prizes will be awarded, including for longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin and more. A silent auction will also be held, and raffle items will also be provided.
