Two Jayettes earn All-RRC volleyball honors

Sophomore Kacy Nevitt and junior Magley Orellana both earned All-Raccoon River Conference honors for their efforts on the court this season.

Nevitt was chosen for the Second Team, with Orellana, who played the libero position, added to the Honorable Mention list.

Nevitt had 48 kills and a kills per set average of 2.18. She served 43-of-57 (.754) but produced 17 aces.

Orellana finished with 76 total digs. She averaged 3.45 digs per set. Over all matches, Orellana posted new Perry school records for total digs (326) and digs per set (3.66).

All-RRC recognition considers statistics from league competition only.

The Jayettes finished 7-32 overall and 0-7 in the conference. They were coached by John Fulton, with Paige Wilkin, Alissa Bahney and Carol VanKirk assisting.
