INDIANOLA — The Perry girls claimed their second win in as many days with a 4-1 non-conference victory over Indianola Friday.

The win lifts Perry to 6-7 overall while Indianola fell to 4-8. The hosts were winners in the junior varsity game, recording a 1-0 win.

Indianola had the only goal in the first half, scoring with just under five minutes remaining before the break.

Natalie Martinez added to her new school record of career goals with an unassisted score in the 46th minute. The goal was her 19th of the season and 88th of her career.

Kailey Crawford lifted her season total to 10 goals by beating the keeper in the 48th minute and then again in the 61st minute, with Jazmin Hernandez assisting the latter. Perry capped the scoring Hannah Peterson rippled the net with an unassisted goal in the 64th minute. The score was the fifth of the season for Peterson.

Freshman goalie Kimberly Castillo collected the win in goal after making six saves, five of which came in the second half.
