Iowa Highway 44 and County Road F31 have reopened after Saturday flooding.

Several roadways in east-central Dallas County were reopened Sunday morning after heavy rains and flooding forced their closure late Saturday.

Iowa Highway 44 (Sugar Grove Avenue) has reopened through Dallas Center, and County Road F31 (190th Street) is now clear between Minburn and Granger.

“All of our paved roads are open,” said Al Miller, director of the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department. “We are cleaning off debris and picking up signs from last night”

The Iowa Department of Transportation indicates Iowa Highway 17 north of Granger is blocked due to flooding.
