The five queen and five king candidates for Homecoming royalty at Panorama have been announced. The Panthers (2-1) will host Central Decatur (0-3) at 7 p.m. Friday.
Candidates for queen include Bailey Beckman, Morgan Johnk, Kennedy Kuta, Bryn Steffen and Jaelyn Waddle. King candidates are Trey Cobb, Dylan Douglass, Spencer Hunt, Noah Kirtley and Levi Richey. The winners will be announced at halftime of the football game.
The cross country team was scheduled to have begun the annual Rally Run Saturday, carrying a game ball from Leon to Winterset, approximately 55 miles. They will finish the final stretch — just over 42 miles in length — Friday, bringing the ball from Winterset to the high school.
