The Perry Elementary school building was half empty for part of today, and for good reason: Track Day.
Each year the elementary students pack a sack lunch and walk to Dewey Field for fun and games. Today saw the first graders, and later students in the second and third grades, have a rollicking time partaking in a variety of fun events.
Family members were welcome to attend as well, and will be welcomed again Thursday, when the fourth and fifth grades make the short trek to the track.
