WOODWARD — The collegiate destination of Woodward-Granger senior Kayley Dresback was recently made official as the veteran starting guard signed a letter of intent to continue her playing days for Buena Vista University.

Located in Storm Lake, the Beavers (currently 5-17) are members of the American Rivers Conference, formerly the IIAC. Buena Vista is coached by Dana Christen.

Dresback, whose father, Gary, is the W-G head coach, has been an important on-court leader for the Hawks (9-11). She is averaging eight points per contest, with averages of over three per outing for both rebounds and steals.

She will play her final home game Tuesday when W-G hosts AC/GC for a WCAC battle. The Hawks open postseason play Saturday at Madrid. The teams split their regular season meeting, each winning on their home court.
