BOONE — The Class 1A and 2A postseason brackets have been released, and WCAC rivals Woodward-Granger and Panorama have both been placed in 2A District 13.
Panorama (9-9) will face host West Central Valley (1-16) on Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. following a 6:30 p.m. contest between Mt. Ayr (14-3) and AC/GC (5-14). The winners move to Feb. 14 games hosted by Des Moines Christian (12-5). Woodward-Granger (14-4) will play the Panorama/WCV winner at 6:30 p.m. with DMC playing the Mt. Ayr vs. AC/GC victor at 8 p.m.
The District 13 Final will be played Feb. 19, at 7 p.m., at a site yet to be determined.
District 14 first round games pit host Clarinda (6-12) against Shenandoah (5-15) and Tri-Center (9-10) against Red Oak (1-18). Host Treynor awaits the winner of the Clarinda/Shenandoah duel while Underwood (11-8) plays the Tri-Center/Red Oak survivor, with the District 14 Final also Feb. 19 at a site to be determined.
The two district champions will meet, in Harlan, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. with the winner advancing to the state tournament.
