WOODWARD — Senior Cierra DeHoet recently announced she will continue her competitive golf career at the collegiate level by playing for the University of Northern Iowa.

DeHoet, who played in the state tournament last spring, will begin competing for coach John Bermel’s Panther squad in the fall season of 2019.

She has been the lead golfer for head coach David Comb’s Hawks team since her freshman season. After narrowly missing a state tourney appearance as a sophomore, she qualified as a junior and will be strong contender to return for another run at a state medal this spring.

DeHoet will pursue a degree in Criminology at UNI.
