WOODWARD — Junior Kaycee Major was named Class 2A All-State Honorable Mention by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association today.
Major played numerous positions defensively for the Hawks while spending most of her time in the clean-up spot in the lineup.
She produced 45 hits while batting .437 and recording a .680 slugging percentage. Major swatted nine doubles and two triples and smacked four home runs. She drove in 34 runs and scored 23 times.
W-G was 15-20 overall and 9-7 in West Central Activities Conference play.
