The Women of Wonder coffee group, founded in July by Founding Mothers Lois Hoger, Kathy Fox and Shirley Ehlers, met Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Perry Perk coffeehouse in order to work their fall wonders.
Among the wonders was an effort to enlist volunteers for the Friends of the Perry Public Library book sale to be held Friday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Ehlers and Fox were absent from this week’s meeting, but Hoger was joined by fellow wonder women Sue Finer, Donna Meyer, Joyce Franklin, Connie McGuire, Jolene Niemeyer, Cathy Clark, Jackie Svetly and Lin Jacobsen.
The next meeting of the Women of Wonder will be Thursday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at the Perry Perk. New members are welcome.
