The National Weather Service office in Johnston has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for western Dallas County and central Guthrie County until 7:30 p.m., with one-half inch hail and 60 mph winds possible.
At 6:49 p.m. radar indicated a severe thunderstorm located 9 miles southwest of Jefferson and moving southeast at 40 mph.
People and animals outdoors will be injured, the NWS said. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will be near Lake Panorama about 7:05 p.m.
