A one-vehicle collision occurred about 9:15 p.m. Thursday when a light pole was struck in the parking lot of a local grocery retailer.
The driver reportedly suffered hand pain in the accident, according to radio traffic.
Significant front-end damage was sustained by the four-door passenger car, and the vehicle’s air bags deployed in the collision.
The Perry Police Department is investigating the accident at this hour.
The Perry First Responders and Dallas County EMS also responded.
